The 97-79-101 is a standard cylindrical connector from the Amphenol 97 Series, designed for medium to heavy-weight applications requiring durable, field-proven connectivity. It features a threaded coupling with hard dielectric inserts, non-rotating contacts, and single key/keyway polarization for secure mating. The connector operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -55°C to +125°C and is intermateable with existing 97 Series and SAE AS50151 connectors. With UL recognition (File E115497) and CSA certification (File LR69183), it supports up to 128 contact arrangements from 1 to 52 circuits, offering flexibility for diverse industrial and aerospace applications where cost-effectiveness and proven reliability are essential.
