The 97-3108B-22(639)(0850) is an angle plug connector from Amphenol's 97 Series, designed for general-duty applications where a right-angle cable entry is required to save space. This connector features a size 22 shell made from high-grade aluminum alloy with a bright chromate over cadmium plate finish (639) for durability. Its split backshell (Type B) is longitudinally split, allowing for convenient soldering and inspection of the solder contacts. The design includes threaded coupling for secure mating, hard dielectric diallyl-phthalate inserts, and a single key/keyway for polarization. It operates over a temperature range of –55°C to +125°C and is intermateable with other 97 Series and SAE AS50151 connectors, providing a cost-effective and field-proven interconnection solution.
