DESCRIPTION
The 17-101164 is an industrial RJ45 Cat.5e Ethernet patch cord connector designed for industrial-to-industrial connectivity applications. It meets the EIA/TIA-568-B.2 Cat.5e specification and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The connector features a nickel-plated copper alloy RJ45 plug shell with phosphor bronze contacts finished with 50 µin gold minimum over nickel, coupled with a polyester or metallized ABS coupling ring (UL94 V-0 rated) and a silicon interfacial seal. The cable gland is constructed from PA or nickel-plated brass with an NBR seal, ensuring robust environmental protection. This assembly is ideal for harsh industrial environments where reliable Ethernet connectivity, durability, and temperature stability are essential requirements.
