DESCRIPTION

The 98414-G06-12ULF is a MINITEK shrouded header connector designed for vertical PCB mounting with a 2.00 mm pitch and 12 total positions arranged in a 2×6 configuration. The connector features 0.76 µm gold plating on contact areas with 2 µm minimum matte tin on tails, ensuring reliable electrical connections and corrosion resistance. The housing is constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic material (UL-94VO rated) capable of withstanding 260°C peak reflow temperatures for 30 seconds, with post length of 4.00 mm and tail length of 2.50 mm. The connector provides 7 N minimum pin retention in either direction and is RoHS compatible. This connector is commonly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics where reliable board-to-board or board-to-cable interconnection is required.
