DESCRIPTION

The 76382-312LF is a shrouded header connector designed for reliable interconnection in electronic assemblies. It features a 12-position configuration (3 rows × 2 columns based on the part number designation) with phosphor bronze contacts plated with 0.76 µm gold on the contact area and 2 µm minimum matte tin over 1.27 µm nickel underplate for lead-free compliance. The housing is constructed from 30% glass-filled polyester in blue color, flame-retardant per UL-94 V0, with a minimum pin retention force of 15 N in either direction. The connector is rated for wave solder applications at 245°C ±5°C for 5 seconds on 1.6 mm minimum thick circuit boards, making it suitable for automated manufacturing environments. Common applications include industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics requiring robust, RoHS-compliant interconnection solutions.
