DESCRIPTION

The 67996-608H is a BergStik® 2.54mm pitch unshrouded vertical header designed for double-row board-to-board, wire-to-board, and cable-to-board interconnect solutions. It features phosphor-bronze pins with gold or tin plating over 1.27µm nickel, housed in high-temperature thermoplastic (UL94V-0 rated) black material. The connector supports a current rating of 3A per contact, insulation resistance of 5000MO minimum, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 1500V, with an operating temperature range of -65°C to +125°C. Mechanical performance includes a retention force of 9N minimum and retentive leg insertion force greater than 44.48N maximum. This connector is compatible with wave, vapor-phase, and IR reflow soldering processes, making it suitable for diverse electronic equipment requiring reliable interconnection with customizable dimensions and configurations.
