DESCRIPTION

The 53611-S50-6LF is a shrouded vertical header connector featuring a 2×25 position configuration designed for reliable board-to-board interconnection. The connector utilizes phosphor-bronze pins with tin plating (100 µm on contact area, 120 µm on tag length) and incorporates retentive legs that provide a minimum retention force of 3 lbs (1.36 kg) to ensure secure mating. The housing is constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic material (UL94V-O, black color) and is rated to withstand 260°C peak temperature for 15 seconds in wave solder applications or 20 seconds in convection/infrared/vapor phase reflow ovens on 1.5 mm minimum thick circuit boards. With a 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) pitch and eject latch design, this connector is suitable for applications requiring robust, temperature-resistant interconnection in industrial and consumer electronics.
