DESCRIPTION
NDHN6G2 is an IX Industrial bulkhead hood and plug kit connector designed for sealed, push/pull mating in industrial environments. The connector conforms to IEC 61076 Part 3-124 specification and features Type A key configuration suitable for Ethernet applications ranging from 10/100 MBit/s to 1–10 GBit/s (CAT 5e, 6, and 6A). Contacts are constructed from copper alloy plated with gold or palladium-nickel over 1.27 µm minimum nickel on the mating area, with matte tin over nickel on the terminals. The kit provides an IP67 sealed solution in both mated and unmated conditions, with operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, current rating of 1.5 amperes, and voltage rating of 50V AC rms or 60V DC. This connector is ideal for industrial automation, network infrastructure, and harsh environment applications requiring reliable, sealed connectivity with keyed mating protection.
