DESCRIPTION

The AZ9891J-1C-12DE is a 30 Amp sub-micro automotive relay featuring a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) contact arrangement in a compact form factor. It delivers maximum switched power of 480W at 16VDC with a rated load of 25A at 16VDC for locked motor applications, utilizing silver tin oxide contacts with contact resistance less than 50 milliohms. The relay operates with a 12VDC nominal coil voltage (must operate at 7.2VDC, maximum continuous 16VDC) and a coil resistance of 225 ohms, providing 10ms typical operate and release times. It is designed for automotive applications including power windows, door locks, wiper motors, and seat adjusters, offering mechanical life expectancy of 1×106 operations and electrical life of 1×105 operations at 25A 14VDC. The relay is vibration and shock resistant, epoxy sealed for automatic wave soldering, and operates reliably across -40°C to 85°C ambient temperature.
