DESCRIPTION

The AZ4-1C-24D is a 40 ampere miniature power relay manufactured by American Zettler, designed for high-current switching in industrial control and power distribution applications. It features dual-pole contact arrangements (DPST 2 Form A or DPDT 2 Form C) with a nominal 24VDC coil rated for 68.5 mA nominal current and 350 ohms coil resistance. The relay supports maximum switched power of 560W or 8310VA with contact ratings of 40A at 277VAC for normally open contacts and 3A at 277VAC for normally closed contacts, with contact material options of silver cadmium or silver tin oxide. Operating characteristics include a 15 ms typical operate time and 10 ms typical release time, with a maximum operating temperature of 155°C and ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C for DC coil operation. This relay is widely used in HVAC systems, motor control circuits, and industrial automation where reliable high-current switching and compact form factor are essential.
