DESCRIPTION

The 86005CY-SL002 is a five-conductor shielded continuous flex data cable designed for demanding applications requiring reliable signal transmission. It features 28 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/36 stranding) with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation, arranged in a twisted configuration at 12.0 twists per foot minimum, and wrapped with nonwoven polyester tape. The cable incorporates a flexible aluminum/mylar shield with 25% overlap and a 26 AWG tinned copper drain wire providing 90% minimum coverage, all enclosed in a 0.040" nominal PVC jacket with slate color. Rated for 300 V RMS at 105°C, this cable meets UL AWM/STYLE 2661, CM, and CSA FT4 standards, making it suitable for industrial control systems, data transmission, and applications requiring sunlight resistance and oil resistance at 60°C.
