DESCRIPTION

The 7100252585 is a 50-position, open-end wiremount IDC socket from the 3M 3000 series, intended for terminating .050" pitch flat cable or discrete wires. This connector features military (dual slot) polarization and an open-end cover, making it suitable for daisy-chaining applications. The contacts are a copper alloy with 30 µ" of gold plating in the wiping area, housed within a gray, glass-filled polyester (PBT) insulator with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating. It is designed to accommodate 26 and 28 AWG solid or stranded wires and mates with compatible 3M headers and plugs for quick connect/disconnect capability.
