DESCRIPTION

The 7100252575 is a 50-position wiremount socket from the 3M 3000 series, designed for reliable insulation-displacement contact (IDC) termination of .050" pitch ribbon cable. Based on the 3425 series socket, this model features a closed-end cover for end-of-cable termination and incorporates both military (dual slot) and centerbump polarization for proper mating alignment. The contacts are copper alloy with 30 μ” gold plating in the wiping area, housed in a UL 94V-0 rated glass-filled polyester body. As an industry-standard connector, it mates with compatible 3M headers and plugs, making it ideal for a wide range of quick connect/disconnect applications in electronic systems.
