DESCRIPTION

The 7100251810 is an IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) ribbon cable socket from the 3M 891 series, designed to connect .050" pitch ribbon cable. This socket features phosphor bronze contacts with 30 μ” gold plating in the wiping area for reliable connections, housed in a gray, glass-filled polyester body. It accommodates 26 and 28 AWG stranded ribbon cables and is rated for an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. The connector is preassembled for efficient handling and features a double-recessed cover that allows cable termination from either side, making it a versatile solution for various electronic systems.
