DESCRIPTION
The 155220-5202-RB is a 3M Latch/Eject Header from the 1552 Series designed for reliable interconnect applications with 2 mm x 2 mm pitch in surface mount vertical configuration. This connector features a latch/eject mechanism that securely latches to compatible sockets while roll pins retain latches to the body in high vibration environments, and an ejector that facilitates easy unmatting of cable assemblies. The header is constructed with glass-filled polyester (LCP) insulation rated UL 94V-0, copper alloy contacts with 30 µ" [0.76 µm] gold plating over 50 µ" [1.27 µm] nickel underplating, and supports current ratings up to 4.75 A for single line powered applications. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C with a maximum process rating of 260°C, this connector is suitable for lead-free processing and is RoHS compliant. The product is ideal for use with 3M IDC Wiremount Sockets or 3M Molded Cable Assemblies in applications requiring robust, high-reliability interconnection with secure latching and vibration resistance.
