DESCRIPTION

The 3659/09-300 is a 9-conductor, round, shielded/jacketed flat cable from the 3M 3659 series, provided in a 300-foot roll. It features 28 AWG stranded conductors on a .050-inch pitch, which permits mass termination to a broad line of insulation-displacement contact (IDC) connectors. The cable has a diameter of 0.27 inches and incorporates dual shielding, consisting of an aluminum/polyester film foil and a 90% coverage tinned copper braid, providing an average shielding effectiveness of 35 dB. Its round construction allows for easier routing, and the primary cable is zippable for branching, making it ideal for the internal and external wiring of electronic equipment.
