DESCRIPTION

2842/7-BLACK-1000 is a PTFE-insulated hookup wire designed for high-temperature and high-reliability applications. It features a 28 AWG (7/36) silver-plated copper conductor with a nominal diameter of 0.015 inches and PTFE insulation with a 0.006-inch wall thickness, resulting in an overall insulation diameter of 0.027 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 250 VRMS with an operating temperature range of -60 to 200°C, and meets MIL-W-16878/6 (Type ET) and NEMA HP3-ETXBGB specifications. With a conductor DC resistance of 60 O/1000ft at 20°C and a maximum pull tension of 1.37 lbs, this wire is suitable for aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring excellent thermal stability and chemical resistance. The product is RoHS-compliant and REACH-compliant, ensuring environmental safety.
